I wanted to share a very unique serum that is triple times more effective than normal face serums. The base for this serum is turmeric. What makes this serum very unique is it is made with three types of turmeric

Organic turmeric powder
The simple turmeric which we use in cooking in Pakistan, When buying turmeric powder for making this serum, try to buy organic turmeric powder for the best results.
Kasturi turmeric (Amba Haldi)
The second variety is Kasturi turmeric also called wild turmeric. It is the most fragrant variety of turmeric. Kasturi turmeric is long thin and dull yellow in color. It does not stain like normal turmeric and is mainly used for skincare. Its botanical name is Curcuma Aromatica.
White Turmeric( Kachur)
The final variety is white turmeric popularly called Kachur. Its botanical name is Curcuma Zedoaria. Like the rest of the two varieties of turmeric, we use white turmeric also extensively for skincare. We use it for treating acne and pigmentation and we generally add it to bath powder recipes. White turmeric is also fragrant and has a thin brownish skin and a firm white interior. We get both the dried white turmeric roots and the ground powder easily in the markets. When we use this serum, we will get the benefits of all these three turmeric varieties.
This serum reduces inflammation, treats and prevents acne, reduces blemishes, heals scars, and finally helps even out the skin tone. With regular use, .you will find that the serum is more effective than any serum that you get in the markets. The best part is this serum does not stain the skin yellow at all!
Take half a teaspoon of organic regular turmeric powder in a bowl. Add in half a teaspoon of white turmeric powder to it. Add in half a teaspoon of Kasturi turmeric powder too. Finally, add in a tablespoon of steam distilled rosewater. Now mix well with a spoon. I prefer steam distilled rosewater as it has a long shelf life and
Now take the turmeric rosewater mixture in a pure cotton cloth and squeeze with your hands to get a smooth liquid. Don't skip this step else the serum will be a bit grainy as the turmeric powders we get in the shops are not super smooth. Now add in an equal quantity of aloe vera gel that is free of color and perfume. Finally, add in a quarter teaspoon of vegetable glycerin if you have dry skin else skip it. Now mix well with a spoon. This serum will be a bit runny than a normal serum but you can easily apply it on the skin. If you want a thicker serum reduce the water amount to half a tablespoon while mixing the powders. To use, before going to bed, cleanse your face to remove all makeup, pat dry, and then apply the serum all over the face and neck. This serum will get absorbed into the skin instantly and you can leave it on overnight. For some people, turmeric increases skin sensitivity to the sun so I generally suggest using turmeric-based treatments in the night and I would suggest the same for this serum too. Alsokasturi turmeric causes a burning sensation in some people but if used like this it does not cause any problems at all.
This serum will last well for about three months at room temperature but make sure to use steam distilled rose water and aloe vera gel from the shops that are free of color and perfume. If you are allergic to aloe vera, you can use homemade flaxseed gel or cucumber gel that you get in the markets but if you are using homemade flaxseed gel, you'll have to immediately store in the fridge and the shelf-life also will reduce considerably.
Aging skin, acne-prone skin, blemished skin, dull skin, and pigmented skin all will benefit using this serum. It's a very effective simple, and pocket-friendly remedy I hope you will like it.
